Printer Description
The Raise3D Pro2 Plus is a product of a well-known Chinese brand. It is designed for 3D farms and small-scale production. The characteristics of the unit correspond to industrial-class 3D printers and European quality standards.
Raise3D Pro2 Plus is a 3D printer with a closed housing and a solid aluminum frame. It has a large print area, two extruders and the ability to build models from multiple materials at once.
The high printing accuracy of the Raise3D Pro2 Plus makes it possible to print even the most technically complex projects. The print speed is significantly faster than previous versions of the printer, even with both extruders running.
The widest possible range of materials used for printing has been achieved thanks to the latest extruders with printing temperatures of up to 300 °C. Unlike most 3D printers, the Raise3D Pro2 Plus uses wood, fiberglass, metal and graphite based materials for printing.
Important: Raise3D Pro2 Plus is also unique in terms of print quality. The printer is engineered to achieve XY accuracy of 0.78125 µm, X-axis accuracy of 0.078125 µm.
The touch screen control panel provides ample opportunities for adjustment and printing. The interface is versatile, yet intuitive Raise3D Pro2 Plus is designed to be environmentally friendly, so it can even be used in the home. An advanced HEPA filter captures up to 91% of particles.
The platform is made of aluminum and equipped with heating. Thanks to the improved design, printed models are not deformed. Silicone coating of the platform allows easy removal of finished products without damaging them.
IdeMaker software supports .stl, .obj extensions and works with three operating systems.

Print quality and product examples
With high precision positioning, soft movements, and a unique quality control system, the Raise3D Pro2 Plus prints models with the highest possible detail and impeccable quality.
This level of detail is achieved through advanced engineering: smooth motion, two extruders with interchangeable nozzles, and high temperature. The built-in video camera inside the oven allows you to monitor the printing process on the display or via an app on your cell phone.
Souvenir and advertising workshops use the machine for the production of highly detailed sculptures, installations, POS materials. One of the most famous stone-cutting workshops in the Urals, Svyatogor, makes models of future articles of semi-precious stones on Pro2 Plus. That is why the cost of the final items for customers is reduced within the range of 200,000-500,000 rubles.
Original toys and costume details for cosplay and historical reenactments are most often made using the Raise3D Pro2 Plus.
This photo shows the details of an alien for an installation at an international forum. The finished model will be over two meters tall.
Animal figurines and mythical creatures made on Raise3D Pro2 Plus decorate private backyards and city lawns. Monochrome, highly detailed colored gnomes, dragons, mushrooms have settled in children’s playgrounds and company offices.
Thanks to two extruders, the Raise3D Pro2 Plus prints in two colors simultaneously. Any product can be printed in multiple colors and textures. With a huge selection of approved plastics, there are no limits to users’ imagination and needs.
Who it suits
The Raise3D Pro2 Plus is most often used by design studios to create prototypes and models in all kinds of applications. The printer does a great job of printing busts, sculptures, and large size pieces. This robot was printed on a Raise3D Pro2 Plus in one of the robotics labs:
The Raise3D Pro2 Plus can also be used to print household items, create costumes for cosplay, interactive entertainment props and promotional materials. The convenience is that it can print a series of products at a relatively high speed. The number of prototypes produced simultaneously depends on their size.
Engineers print models on the printer in the process of designing new parts, making small series or single items, plastic parts with complex geometry.
Medical and research centers make mock-ups of internal organs, personalized cost-effective prostheses. Dental clinics can print dental models, significantly reducing impression making time and making the procedure easier for the patient and the doctor. The quality of the impression is superior to plaster casts because the jaw is scanned with high accuracy, and there is no need to clean the finished product of excess material.
Architects and builders create models and mock-ups on a 3D printer.
Mainly for the purpose of presentation and correction of the visual concept of the future object. Interior designers create geometrically complex objects with two and many colors. The soluble support makes interior objects of high precision and complexity appear neat and unusual.
What materials are used
Filaments approved and effective for printing: PLA / HIPS / ABS / PC / TPE / TPU / NYLON/PETG / ASA / PP / wood filled / carbon filled / metal filled / glass filled.
Important! The company is constantly updating the list of approved plastics, so you should check the official website of the manufacturer for the latest information.
Instructions for initial setup and preparation for operation
Before installing and starting the printer for the first time, the user should carefully study the manual supplied with the printer. First and foremost, the warning signals and technical parameters.
Choosing a location for the printer must take into account that the 3D printer vibrates strongly when printing some objects. Therefore, it must not be located near devices that are sensitive to vibration.
Step-by-step instructions for installing the printer:
- Remove the ties and clamps that ensured safe transport.
- Remove the four hex bolts from the Z-axis clamps.
- Plug the printer into a power outlet and turn it on by pressing the button on the bottom of the enclosure.
- Loading takes 1 minute and ends with the main window on the display.
- On the Utilities tab, press the “Z alignment button” and the printing platform will move to its original position.
- Open the chamber door and take out the accessory kit and the filament spool from the bottom of the printer.
- Lower the platform by 5 cm along the Z axis by pressing the down arrow 5 times.
- Loosen the screws on the Z platform, remove the print plate from its packaging and remove the calibration model from it.
- Place the print plate on the platform.
- Install the spool holders on the side panel and insert the end of the filament into the guide tube.
- Set the temperature for the appropriate platen and press Start, then the printer will begin heating.
Important: To update the firmware, insert the memory card into the port on the side of the display and follow the instructions on the screen.
Platforms are calibrated by the manufacturer before being shipped to the customer. However, it is better to align them again according to the instructions before the first run.
The test model is printed from the USB flash drive supplied with the printer. To do this, the flash drive is inserted into the port on the side of the display. Select “USB Storage” on the “Print” tab and press “Print”.
Important: During printing, the touch screen will show the printing process in real time and technical specifications.
The Raise3D Pro2 Plus is one of the best 3D printers out there. Its possibilities are almost unlimited. It has a number of unique advantages – the highest possible printing accuracy, high level of detail of objects. Raise3D Pro2 Plus can print two different plastics at the same time. And if one of them is water soluble, you can create models of the most complex geometric forms.
Engineers, architects, and researchers in science centers use Raise3D Pro2 Plus to make prefabricated models larger and more accurate. It is used to make prefabricated models more than 2 meters high. Medical institutes make individualized artificial limbs, models of internal organs for teaching students, oral impressions before prosthetics.
The most frequent buyers of the printer are designers, advertising agencies and 3D farms. The Raise3D Pro2 Plus prints faster than many of its peers without losing model quality.
Install, calibrate and prepare the 3D printer for start-up must be strictly in accordance with the instructions. If the consumer violates its requirements, the manufacturer will not be liable for damage to the machine.
